GCM Contracting Solutions, a design-build general contractor based in Fort Myers, has promoted Rudley Lewis to the position of vice president of construction.
Lewis has 35 years of experience in the construction industry, joining GCM in February as a project manager. He previously served as an executive operations manager and project executive in New York for nearly two decades.
“Rudley has proven to be a key player and leader here at GCM, in a short period of time,” said Robert Brown, president of GCM. “His extensive knowledge and experience in the industry will contribute to the overall success of the company. I look forward to future projects and initiatives under his leadership.”
As vice president of construction, Lewis will be responsible for day-to-day construction operations, creating and managing budgets, writing contracts, helping to design construction plans and maintaining a hands-on role in the construction management process. He also will hire project managers and supervise the project management team.
Lewis graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in construction management.
