Out with the old and in with the new is what they say, and the out with the old part is well underway at Gulf Star Marina. As we remove concrete and transport it to be crushed and recycled for base, the utility crew stays right behind us installing drainage and utilities. This area is riddled with existing utilities as well as abandoned pipes, which keeps things interesting. While we have been delayed by severe weather and unexpected interactions with existing underground, we hope to be pouring back the 1st section of concrete pavement early in the week. Finishing touches are being applied to the seawall, and the guys inside are making steady progress with the bunk rails and clips. Our electrical and plumbing subcontractors are working hard, and we hope to see power to the building next week.
