In preparation for permanent power at Gulf Star Marina, we recently spent the night installing conduits for the transformer pad. FPL requires a substantial lead time (6-8 weeks) and the installation of these, as well as the transformer pad itself, are the requirement to get on the schedule for permanent electrical service. Due to the frenzied activity in the parking lot at Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille, we performed this operation during the night and were able to return the parking lot to usable condition before the lunchtime rush.
